We were blessed to celebrate Sam's 1st birthday with him and his family yesterday! Beck and I have been best friends since our freshman year of college, and are so blessed to live less than an hour away from one another and have boys two months apart. We had so much fun at his party yesterday, and Markus loved playing with his new toys (note the spatula in his hand).

Sam looks like a happy boy. He and Markus make quite the pair! It reminds me of the days when all our friends were having babies...it's so fun to watch the kids grow up together. And now my firstborn and her friends are ready to drive! Beware: that time really does go by fast. I swear Cami was JUST a baby... :)
This big guy is loosing his "baby look". He looks like a "big boy". (I'm just preparing myself for when we come in April). We've had snow all day today. Caleb says EVERY school in Iowa is closed except the McKim school. All is well. Mama W.
